If you like the first generation of Pixel Buds from 2017, today’s your lucky day: it looks like Google’s going in for round two.
According to a report from 9to5Google, the Pixel Buds 2 will be announced “soon.” The report doesn’t mention any new features, design changes, or other notable differences between them and the first-gen Pixel Buds, but 9to5Google does mention how there’s a solid chance the new buds will be unveiled during Google’s October 15th Pixel 4 event.
Upgrades Everywhere for Pixel Buds 2?
Overall, Pixel Buds weren’t the best pair of wireless earbuds, according to reviewers. Sound quality was off, battery life could’ve been better, and some of the Google Assistant “smart” features weren’t very smart at all. It’s anyone’s guess as to what the new Pixel Buds will feature, but I’d bargain that Google will touch on all the subjects I just mentioned in order to convince people to try Pixel Buds again.
