Alongside a slew of other announcements, Lenovo today is unveiling the new L28u-30 monitor. What makes this monitor so special? The fact that it offers a full 4K panel with near-perfect sRGB color emulation for under $300.
Specifically, the L28u-30 features a 3840×2160 display with a 60 Hz refresh rate, slim bezels, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and what Lenovo calls 3-side NearEdgeless In-Plane Switching. This just means that you can look at the display from nearly any angle and it won’t discolor or become hard to see. Lenovo says this is true at angles as wide as 178-degrees.
Lenovo also equips this monitor with a 10-bit color profile with more than 99 percent of the sRGB color gamut. You also get AMD FreeSync technology for smoother gameplay. In addition, the monitor also comes with a low blue light feature powered by TÜV.
To connect to your PC, the monitor comes with both an HDMI port and a DisplayPort 1.2 slot.
Lenovo will charge just $299 for this monitor when it goes on sale this November.
