Google is Now Rolling Out Android Auto’s Complete Redesign

Google has begun the rollout of its complete redesign for android auto. The update arrives almost three months after it was unveiled.

The new version of Android Auto carries a complete redesign of the software with a stronger focus on app interaction. Now, you’ll see an app grid on your home grid instead of tabs that give you access to certain features. There’s also a new default dark theme that should make the OS much more appealing in your car’s console. there are also new shortcuts to control music, navigation, and notifications.

Notably, Google says everyone should receive the Android Auto upgrade in the coming weeks. If you don’t see the update today, that means you probably have to wait a little while.
