After waiting a couple of weeks following the fourth beta’s release, Apple today began rolling out the fifth build of tvOS 13 for test-driving on the Apple TV. The software will be available to all compatible Apple TV users this fall. Public beta testers should get a new version of the OS to test later this week.
tvOS 13 is light on new features, but they’re notable nonetheless. Here’s a rundown of what’s new.
- Updated home screen w/ full-screen video previews
- Multi-user support
- Xbox One S and PlayStation DualShock 4 controller support
- Updated screen savers
The new software can be installed by going to the Software Update section of the Settings app and hitting the download button. You’ll have to be registered as a developer to try out the new OS, however.
