After over a year of waiting.

After announcing it at I/O 2018, delaying it to spring of 2019, and delaying it once again to summer 2019, JBL has finally released its Link Bar. The device costs $399 and was spotted by Android Police as available for shipping.

The Link Bar is a notable product for good reason. It sports a 100W sound bar with internals that power the Google Assistant and Android TV all at the same time. It’s essentially the ultimate smart home accessory if you want a central place in your home to control other smart appliances, stream TV shows and movies, and ask Google questions at a moment’s notice. Because of how ambitious it is, I have a feeling JBL simply needed extra time to develop it.

You can purchase the JBL Link Bar from the company’s website here.
