After releasing the feature to other models of the device in international markets, Samsung today finally began rolling out a dedicated night mode to the Galaxy S10 in the United States. Specifically, the S10 Plus is getting the feature at the moment, with both AT&T and Verizon users reporting on the new feature. XDA-Developers was among the first to confirm the rollout.
The feature is basically a manual control for Samsung’s Bright Night functionality which uses AI to detect when it should be used and kicks it into gear to improve your photos. However, the feature has never been reliable enough to capture the best possible photo in darker situations, so having a manual toggle to turn it on or off should make a notable difference.
