Yesterday, Apple officially unveiled iOS 13, complete with a new dark mode, better performance, upgraded apps, and more. The company also debuted iPadOS as the new version of iOS for the iPad with many iPad-friendly features.

Along with each announcement, we got a full list of devices that would support iOS 13 and iPadOS. A few iPhones and iPads were dropped from this year’s line-up, so it’s important to check the list below to make sure your phone or tablet made the cut.

iOS 13 supported devices

  • iPhone XS Max
  • iPhone XS
  • iPhone X
  • iPhone 8 Plus
  • iPhone 8
  • iPhone 7 Plus
  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 6s Plus
  • iPhone 6s
  • iPhone SE

iPadOS supported devices

  • iPad Pro (12.9-inch)
  • iPad Pro (11-inch)
  • iPad Pro (10.5-inch)
  • iPad Pro (9.7-inch)
  • iPad (6th generation)
  • iPad (5th generation)
  • iPad mini (5th generation)
  • iPad mini 4
  • iPad Air (3rd generation)
  • iPad Air 2

Notably missing from the lists are a few devices. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus won’t be getting iOS 13, and neither will the iPod touch sixth-gen or iPhone 5s. Similarly, the original iPad Air and iPad mini 2 won’t get upgraded to iPadOS. These are all aging devices anyway so it makes sense to see them fade from existence.

All the devices listed as supported will get either iOS 13 or iPadOS this fall. Public betas of the software will be seeded next month.
