After a ton of built-up hype that’s been lingering since early 2018, DJ Khaled has finally dropped his 11th studio album, Father of Asahd, named after his relationship with his son. The album received artwork this past Wednesday and a track late yesterday. Today, the project is available to stream on all major platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.
For Father of Asahd, DJ Khaled brings his normal list of A-list artists and then some. This project features basically everyone, seriously. Jay Z, Beyoncé, Future, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Nipsey Hussle, John Legend, Nas, CeeLo Green, Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Lil Baby, and Gunna are just a few of the names you’ll find scattered around this anthem-heavy record. Of course, Khaled makes regular guest appearances across the album with quick adlibs to get the energy up.
If you’re a fan of past DJ Khaled projects, Father of Asahd won’t disappoint.
