Arriving the same day as her Netflix special becomes available to stream, Beyoncé today unexpectedly drop a live album called Homecoming. The album is the latest project from Queen Bey since her collaboration with husband Jay Z.
The album consists of 40 live versions of some of Beyoncé’s greatest hits, including “Crazy in Love,” “Formation,” and “Drunk in Love.” It also mixes in a rendition of Maze featuring Frankie Beverly’s “Before I Let Go” along with a duet with Jay Z on “Deja Vu.” There’s even a Destiny’s Child reunion during “Say My Name” and “Soldier.”
If this all sounds familiar to you, that’s because it probably is. Homecoming is Bey’s entire set list from her headline-making Coachella performance on April 14, 2018. After being postponed in 2017 in order to give Mrs. Carter time to have her twins, Beyoncé took to the stage almost one year ago to the day and delivered a performance millions of superfans won’t soon forget. And now, they can relive every single moment in audio form.
To accompany the album, Beyoncé’s Netflix special which is based around her 2018 Coachella performance is also available for streaming.
