Apple today announced the official dates for its annual World Wide Developers Conference, or WWDC. According to the company, the event will be held from June 3rd to the 7th, with the first day reserved for the inaugural keynote. It’ll be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.

During WWDC 2019, we expect Apple to cover a lot of ground on the future of iOS and macOS. Specifically, the company teased last year how iOS apps would soon receive some sort of integration with macOS thanks to cross-platform compatibility. There’s a good chance Apple will elaborate on this further, but for now, things remain unclear.

It’s also unclear what kind of changes we’ll see in the company’s next big software release, iOS 13. Rumor has it the software will receive somewhat of a major redesign thanks to new home screens for the iPhone and iPad. If we don’t wind up with something new for the former, something for the latter that better takes advantage of its size has to be in order. Again, it’s too early to call any shots, but it’s never too early to cross fingers.

As far as new features for macOS, tvOS, and watchOS, things remain under wraps for the time being. We have plenty of time between now and June for things to leak so be sure to stay tuned for future developments.
