After releasing the first beta this afternoon, Google published a timeline for the Android Q beta process. According to the company, there will be six initial betas of Q, with a seventh build serving as the software’s official release.
In the timeline, it’s stated that the next beta of Android Q will be released early next month. Afterward, we’ll get a third beta in May, likely during I/O 2019 which is scheduled during that time. Then in June, we’ll get a fourth beta. At two unknown points we’ll get the fifth and sixth betas which will serve as release candidates, with the final version of the update slated to arrive in Q3 2019.
