CNBC is reporting Apple Music has officially launched on Amazon Fire TV. Those who own such a device will need to enable the Apple Music Skill for Alexa. Once finished and logged in, the app will appear on your Fire TV and work similarly to what you’re used to on your phone, tablet, or laptop.
Apple Music has been making its way to more third-party devices lately. Last December, the service was brought to Amazon Echo users as an alternative to Amazon Music and Spotify. Most recently, an optimized version of Apple Music’s Android app was released for tablets. There’s even evidence of the streaming service eventually coming to Google Home smart speakers. Now that it’s on Amazon Fire TV, that wouldn’t be a surprising update.
