Finally arriving after phones bought through U.S. carriers received the update.

On the heels of the device receiving the upgrade across all four major U.S. carriers, Samsung has begun pushing out the Android Pie update to its own unlocked Galaxy Note 9. The phone has been stuck on Oreo since its release last August, so it’s nice to see the device get the update many users have been anxiously waiting for.

With Android 9 Pie on the Note 9, you get all the normal features Google includes like better notification management, an updated security patch, and other smaller tweaks. Of course, Samsung also includes its One UI which makes using big phones easier with one hand.

To download the update, head over to Settings > Software Update > Download updates manually.
