We still don't know anything about the truck, however.

On the heels of unveiling the Model Y’s release date, Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed on Twitter that the Tesla pickup truck would be unveiled later this year. Musk was replying to a user who thought the Model Y was the truck, to which Musk replied, “No, that unveil is later this year”.

Not much is known about the Tesla pickup. That’s no exaggeration. Musk has revealed next to nothing about the truck itself other than how “futuristic” it’ll be. We did catch a glimpse at the truck during Tesla’s semi truck event where the next-gen Roadster made an appearance. But other than this quick mock-up, we really don’t know what this vehicle is gonna feature.

Of course, as we approach the truck’s launch time frame, we’ll be sure to update you on any developments.
