Huawei will unveil its new P30 and P30 Pro smartphones on March 26th during an event in Paris. Of course, between now and then, there’s plenty of time for a few leaks of the devices to surface on the internet, and today is one of those times.
WinFuture has published new images of what they claim are renders of the new P30 and P30 Pro. The devices share similar characteristics such as curved glass on either side, slimmer bezels around the screens, much smaller notches over the previous generation, and three rear cameras along with a single selfie shooter. The P30 Pro does look slightly different when compared to the P30 thanks to the display’s curved sides. It makes the screen look more immersive as a result, so if you wanna get sucked into your smartphone experience, the Pro model might be the one for you.
Elsewhere, the P30 and P30 Pro will come with similar finishes to last year’s models with gradient accents and unique patterns on the back. The standard dark gray color schemes aren’t as glamorous, of course, but they certain look pretty clean at least in these renders.
Touching a bit more on the cameras, rumor has it the third camera on the back of both phones will be used as a 10x optical zoom sensor. This will allow for much sharper and better detailed photos when up close to a subject. It’s unclear if both the P30 and P30 Pro will utilize the same type of sensor, but we’ll likely learn more in the future.
We’re just about a month away from seeing the P30 and P30 Pro officially. Be sure to stay tuned for coverage of all Huawei’s announcements at that time.
