Today during MWC 2019, Lenovo unveiled a new lineup of laptops called the IdeaPad S. In the new series live the IdeaPad S540 and S340, two machines that specialize in high-end specs jammed inside light and thin bodies. The company wants to position the laptops as portable yet powerful work bases, and it looks like they offer the optimal recipe of specs to achieve this.

With both the S540 and S340, Lenovo includes clean and minimal aluminum designs with traditional laptop form factors. In other words, you won’t be able to use these machines as tablets, tents, stands, or any other form factor that a 2-in-1 enables. These are classic laptops through and through, and they’re pretty attractive.

Here’s a rundown of each machine’s specs. You’ll notice they don’t differ in very many ways. However, the IdeaPad S540 does pack in a few extras like a standard fingerprint reader and touchscreen. Meanwhile, the S340 loses a few amenities but sticks to the basics.
