That’s not to say this a bad thing. After all, Huawei struck a winning formula last year when it introduced the
You now what else has received better performance? The specs. Here’s a rundown of what you can find in the new 2019 MateBook X Pro.
- Up to an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor
- Up to 16GB of rAM
- Up to 1TB of SSD storage
- Up to Nvidia MX250 discrete graphics
As you can see, there isn’t much different when compared to last year’s MateBook X Pro. However, the changes that were made are notable.
There’s also one more new feature onboard the 2019 MateBook X Pro. Called OneHub, the function lets users who own a Huawei phone instantly share files with their laptop using Wi-Fi Direct and NFC. There’s an NFC chip embedded under a sticker on the MateBook X Pro’s body that, when tapped by a paired phone, will let you transfer files, photos, videos, and more to your laptop wirelessly. The feature seems pretty promising, but you’ll be required to own a Huawei device with EMUI 5.0 or later.
All in all, the new MateBook X Pro looks like yet another all-rounder for Huawei. The company says it’ll go on sale this spring in the United States. Pricing and specific release information hasn’t been given just yet, but we’ll let you know when we hear more.
