When the Galaxy S10 was revealed just a couple of days ago, Samsung confirmed you’d be able to remap its side-mounted Bixby button to do whatever you want. As a result, users were wondering whether the company would bring this functionality to previous handsets like the Galaxy S9 or Note 9. Thankfully, the feature will trickle down to these phones and then some.

According to Samsung’s blog post, not only does the Galaxy S10 get Bixby button remapping, but so do all Galaxy phones with Bixby buttons that run Android Pie. This means the Galaxy S9, S8, Note 9, and Note 8 will get the feature. Granted, you’ll need to wait for a software update before the functionality becomes available, but at least the feature will be available nonetheless.
