An updated report claims to confirm a name change for one of Sony's upcoming smartphones.

Sony, much like other companies, is expected to unveil new phones during MWC 2019 later this month. One of the devices the company will unveil recently leaked out. Called the Xperia XA3, the phone features a 21:9 display, a large forehead, and mid-range specs. However, the device itself might not go by its original name.

WinFuture has updated a previous article that now shows off two new devices from Sony which the publication claims are called the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus. Apparently, at some point, Sony decided to rename the XA3 to the 10, likely due to the major design refresh both devices are seeing. Mind you, they look nearly identical, just with larger screens. But compared to last year’s Xperia lineup, you’d think these phones came from a completely different manufacturer.

Whatever they wind up being called, we expect the new mid-range Xperias to launch later this month. Stay tuned, folks.
