LG is set to take the stage in Barcelona later this month to unveil its G8 ThinQ smartphone during MWC 2019. Of course, despite confirming a launch date, the leak train hasn’t come to a halt just yet as Evan Blass (a.k.a. @evleaks) has shared new, high-quality renders of the G8 from every angle.
As you can see in the image above, we’re looking at an identical device to the one leaked toward the end of last month. We’ve also seen CAD-based renders in the past which look just like this. So despite what an LG employee is saying, yes, this is most likely the final G8 design.
In terms of what we’re expecting from the G8, LG has already confirmed it’ll ship with a 3D camera for facial recognition and other features. It’s also said the phone will be compatible with some sort of second screen attachment. Finally, a Snapdragon 855, 4 or 6GB of RAM, and Android Pie are expected to sit under the hood.
As this topic unfolds, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.
