Apple is Introducing Four New Animojis with iOS 12.2

Apple started rolling out the second beta of iOS 12.2 yesterday, and now, new features within the beta are being discovered. One of those features includes four new Anomojis: a giraffe, a warthog, an owl, and a shark. 9to5Mac was first to spot the inclusion.

All four of these new Animojis will launch on the iPhone and the 2018 iPad Pros. They work with Apple’s TrueDepth camera system embedded in the company’s Face ID authentication method. By tracking your facial expressions, the characters mimic you and present a fun way to talk to your friends. In total, there are now 24 Animojis.

iOS 12.2 should start rolling out to all users this spring.
