Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S10 on February 20th, and rumors have begun swirling in regards to the company’s ultimate flagship 5G-enabled variant that will be sold through Verizon and AT&T. According to ETNews, this device might pack some of the most insane specs ever shoved into a phone.
Here’s a breakdown of what the report mentions this so-called “Galaxy S10 X” (pronounced Galaxy “ess-ten ex” or, in a nightmare scenario, Galaxy “ess-ten ten”) will include.
- 6.7-inch AMOLED display
- Snapdragon 855 processor
- Up to 10GB of RAM
- Up to 1TB of storage
- Six cameras (four on the back, two on the front)
- In-display fingerprint reader
- 5,000mAh battery
- 5G connectivity
In addition to those specs, past rumors claim this device will ship with Samsung’s own version of Apple’s Face ID where the company will utilize 3D face tracking to identify a subject. So far, nothing’s been confirmed by Samsung officially, but if any of it is, we’ll be store for quite the handset once it reaches the market.
According to ETNews, the regular Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus will start shipping March 8th. Meanwhile, the beast that is the Galaxy S10 X will become available March 29, at least in Korea.
