Palm Phone Launches on Verizon November 2nd for $350

After unveiling the device earlier this month, Verizon and Palm have announced the new Palm Phone will go on sale next Friday, November 2nd. The device will cost $350 if you buy it outright. On a two-year contract, it’ll run you $300. You’ll also have to pay an extra $10 a month for Verizon’s NumberShare service because of how this phone works.

In case you missed it, the Palm Phone is meant to be a sort of extension of your current smartphone. Think of it as a larger smartwatch you control like a normal handset. It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Android Oreo, and a 3.3-inch screen. The idea is you’ll be able to take this phone with you instead of your main phone to avoid distractions since you won’t want to use this phone as often. It’ll include your same phone number thanks to Verizon’s NumberShare so you’ll get all of your phone calls and texts. Of course, it remains unclear whether using the Palm Phone is worth it, but if we manage to get our hands on one, we’ll let you know.
