After releasing both phones earlier this year, Sony has begun rolling out Android Pie to both the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact. The phones mark the second array of high-end devices to get this year’s release of Android, with the company’s Xperia XZ3 launching with the software out of the box. Xperia Blog was first to report today’s news.
The update weighs in at around 1GB and should be rolling out to all XZ2 and XZ2 Compact owners. As always, be sure to connect to Wi-Fi and a power cord before installing the update so you don’t run into any problems.
