Genius has announced a new partnership with Apple that makes the latter’s Apple Music streaming service the official music player of the former. Starting today, those who visit the Genius app on their mobile device or navigate to the Genius website will be able to stream full-length songs that correspond with lyrics directly from Apple Music. So if you happen to stumble upon YSIV from Logic on Genius, you’ll be able to hear the full song using your Apple Music subscription.

But that’s not all. Starting today, Apple Music will also begin integrating lyrics from Genius in its own app. Those in-line lyrics Apple provides under its music player will now be provided by Genius. You’d never know it, though, since Apple won’t be including the Genius logo or any sort of branding whatsoever. Still, it’s nice to see the two companies work together in such a way.

These new changes are rolling out starting today to users of Genius and Apple Music.
