Huawei is expected to unveil its new Mate 20 Pro smartphone soon, and thanks to Roland Quandt on Twitter, we’re getting another look at the device and its design.
In two new real-life images, you can see the Mate 20 Pro with its uncommonly tall display and rounded sides. The notch at the top is larger than what we were expecting (something similar to a waterdrop-style notch has been the rumor up to this point), but it’s definitely not as big as the one rumored to accompany the upcoming Pixel 3 XL from Google.
We’re also getting our first look at Huawei’s new Freebuds 2 Pro, wireless earbuds that look to compete with Apple’s AirPods from which they take clear design inspiration. According to these leaked renders, it looks like the Freebuds could come with indicator lights and colorful accents to add a bit of distinction to their otherwise AirPod-resembling design.
In addition, the buds also appear to support wireless charging through their case that works with both a wireless charging pad and the Mate 20 Pro itself. So essentially, you’ll be able to use your phone as a wireless power pack and charge your headphones with it which is pretty cool.
We expect Huawei to unveil the new Mate 20 and 20 Pro next month along with its new Freebuds 2 Pro headphones. Be sure to stay tuned for more leaks and rumors leading up to the devices’ official announcements.
