Google today released the April 2018 security patch for both Pixel and Nexus devices. The update is currently rolling out to the Pixel 2 and 2 XL, Pixel and Pixel XL, Nexus 6P and 5X, and the Pixel C tablet.

According to Google’s bulletin board, there are 62 bugs and security flaws that have been squashed between the two security levels present this month: 2018-04-01 and 2018-04-05. As is the case with many a security patch, the most severe of the issues fixed lie in the media framework section of the OS.

Users of Google-branded devices can expect the update to hit within the next few days. If you’re impatient, you can flash the factory images here and OTA images here.

Users of other OEMs’ devices can expect to receive the patch in the next few weeks.
