Google today announced its updating the YouTube mobile apps for iOS and Android with a dark mode that darkens certain elements of the app’s interface for a more cinematic experience. The company added the feature to the desktop version of YouTube last year and has been met with much demand from consumers to implement the same feature in the mobile apps.

To activate the mode, you simply tap your account profile picture in the YouTube app, navigate to Settings, and flick on “Dark mode.” From there, you’ll notice the background of the app darkens to a deep gray color. For now, the feature’s only available on iOS, but Google says it’s coming to Android soon.
