Last year, Samsung allowed Microsoft to sell a custom version of its Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus from its store that came with all its bloatware on board. You name it, Word, Excel, PowerPoint – whatever it may be, it was probably on there. Now, the company is doing the same with the new Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus by preloading it with all its Android apps.

Now, I’m sure there are people who like having immediate access to Microsoft’s suite of productivity apps right out of the box, but for everyone else, it may be worth it to just buy the S9 or S9 Plus from Samsung. They’re the same price regardless of whether you buy it from the Microsoft store or Samsung’s website, so you may as well just give Samsung your money up front.

Currently, the S9 and S9 Plus from Microsoft are available for pre-order. Formal orders will open March 16 when the phones go on sale.
