After releasing the fourth beta just two days ago, Apple today seeded testers with the fifth build of iOS 11.2.5 for debugging. To install the new build on your registered device, head over to Settings > General > Software Update. Tap “Download and install” next to the iOS 11.2.5 beta listing and you’ll be good to go. I recommend jumping on a Wi-Fi network first alongside plugging in your device beforehand as a) you don’t want data overcharges on your bill and b) you don’t want your phone or tablet to die during the installation process.

So far, we haven’t spotted anything new in the build. The usual system stabilities and bug fixes are under the hood, but nothing user-facing is. Of course, we’ll let you know of anything notable.

We’re likely close to iOS 11.2.5’s release since we just saw a beta a couple of days ago. This usually indicates Apple is near ready to release it to the public so we’ll keep you posted on that.
