Before it hits eager users here in the United States (or any other country, for that matter), LG is rolling out an update to Android 8.0 Oreo to V30 owners in its home territory, South Korea. The update arrives with picture-in-picture mode, improved App Shortcuts, better battery management, and presumably faster performance. According to LG, you also get better Bluetooth codecs like LDAC for improved listening on wireless headphones.

To see if you’ve received the update, head over to Settings on your V30 and check for updates. It remains unclear when LG will upgrade V30 units in other territories such as the US, but we’ll let you know when that process begins. Presumably, it’ll occur next month.
