Apple today seeded the third beta of watchOS 4.2 to developers who have registered to receive pre-release versions of the Apple Watch’s OS. This comes a week after the second beta was released. To install the beta, navigate to the Watch app on your paired iPhone and tap the “My Watch” tab. From there, go to General > Software Update and you should see the build ready for download. Be sure to place your iPhone on Wi-Fi while downloading this software as it’ll surely gobble up plenty of your data.
We have yet to notice any user-facing changes in the latest watchOS beta build, but we do know there are some bugs that have been squashed. We’ll update you if we find something worth noting.
watchOS 4 arrives with new watch faces including a smart Siri face alongside those featuring Buzz, Woody, and Jessey from the popular Toy Story franchise, new fitness workouts and challenges, a full-on Apple Music app, and peer-to-peer payments like in iOS 11 with Apple Pay Cash.
