Newton is by far my favorite mail client for both iOS and Android. It allows me to sync all of my accounts under one email address and password and comes with an entire suite of features like read receipts, snooze, Tidy Inbox (it basically strips everything down to just emails and not newsletters from a bunch of places), and more. Now, with the latest update to the Android app, I can enjoy App Shortcuts to popular features.

As you can see above, users can now visit their calendar, view all of their inboxes, and even compose an email directly from their home screen with Newton. I’m not sure how many of you actually use App Shortcuts on Android or even 3D Touch on an iPhone, but I’m actually a fan of them and already find these shortcuts useful.

The update can be downloaded from the Play Store for free.
