Instagram is updating its mobile apps for iOS and Android today to allow users to upload photos they’ve taken are are more than a day old to their Story. Previously, only photos or videos you took 24 hours ago were eligible for your Story, but starting today, any photo from your gallery regardless of how old it is can get uploaded to your Story.

To accommodate the change, Instagram is also adding a date sticker which will read information from the photo or video you upload and give you the exact day of which you took the photo during. This is to make Stories feel more in the moment.

These updates are shipping to users of version 22 users on iOS and version 18 users on Android.
