Skype for Windows and Mac is today receiving an upgrade with a fresh design that’s more in line with the recent changes Microsoft made to the service’s mobile apps. The new look first debuted back in June and later made its way to preview versions of Skype for the desktop, and now anyone on macOS or Windows 7/8/10 can take advantage of the refresh.

For reference, this new version of Skype has features like @mentions, message reactions, a new notification panel, a new chat media gallery, better group calls, and a customizable UI based on your selected color scheme. Microsoft has also optimized the app’s layout for larger screens because if you have a PC, you’ll probably wanna actually use the big display that comes with it to its entirety.
