Amazon today announced its new Key deliver service, and to coincide, it’s also debuting the new Cloud Cam. It’s the mega-retailers for security camera which, yes, ships with Amazon Alexa support. It costs $119 and is the first camera to be compatible with Key.

But there’s more to it than just that. According to Amazon, Cloud Cam can shoot in up to 1080p Full HD video, has a night vision mode, two-way audio, a wide viewing angle, and activity clips. For reference, activity clips are clips of video Cloud Cam automatically records when it detects motion. To store this footage, Amazon offers three different cloud subscription tiers which should fit each household depending on how many of these cameras you purchase and how many days you’d like to store the clips.

  • Basic ($6.99/mo, $69/yr) offers access to the last 7 days of motion detection clips for up to 3 cameras
  • Extended ($9.99/mo, $99/yr) offers access to the last 14 days of motion detection clips for up to 5 cameras
  • Pro ($19.99/mo, $199/yr) offers access to the last 30 days of motion detection clips for up to 10 cameras

Cloud Cam can also connect to your Echo Show, Echo Spot, Amazon Fire TV, or Fire tablet by allowing Alexa users to say “Alexa, show me the [camera name]” to view different feeds. This all comes as Amazon hopes to make your home as connected as possible.

“Cloud Cam has all the features you need to monitor your home, including a 1080p Full HD camera, night vision, two-way audio, and free storage for clips—and with the secure AWS cloud powering Cloud Cam’s advanced computer algorithms and intelligent alerts, the service is always getting smarter,” said Charlie Tritschler, Vice President, Amazon Devices. “All of this is just $119.99—Cloud Cam is a premium product at a non-premium price.”

Amazon is selling the Cloud Cam for $119 by itself, but you can also pick up two for $199. There’s even an option to buy a bundle of three for $289. It’s available for pre-order now and will begin shipping on November 8th.
