Google’s new Lens feature is just starting to hit Pixel devices via the Photos app, and now we’re hearing it’ll soon be interested directly into the Assistant. According to two Googlers on Twitter, the feature will soon hit the Google Assistant after its UI and current bugs are ironed out. While it’s unclear what the finished product will look like, it’s likely a button will be available to hit when activating the Assistant to bring up Lens.
We’re adding Lens into Assistant in the next few weeks. All still a preview – start narrow, will beef up as we go. Thnx for playing with it!

We’ll let you know when Lens hits the Assistant. We’ll also let you know of which devices get the feature first as that remains unclear as well.
