Moto’s X4 smartphone is going up for preorder. Starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to place an early order for the handset before it launches October 26th. It’ll cost you $399. The device was originally announced back at IFA 2017 and ships with a 5.2-inch 1080p OLED display, Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Android Nougat, a fingerprint sensor, dual rear cameras, Amazon Alexa integration, a 3,000mAh battery, and an IP68 water & dust resistant rating.
Not only is the X4 launching unlocked at retailers like Best Buy, Newegg, and B&H, but Moto’s latest mid-ranger will also land at Amazon with lock screen ads for $50 cheaper at just $329. This variant is up for pre-order starting today and will also launch on October 26th.
The device works on all four major US carriers as well so no matter where you bring it, you’ll be guaranteed cellular service. Speaking of carriers, the X4 will also land on Project Fi in the future powered by Android One, a lightweight fork of the Android operating system. Unfortunately, this model has been delayed until further notice, but we’ll let you know when it’s available.
