DC’s Final Justice League Trailer Reminds Us Superman is Dead

DC has debuted the final trailer for the upcoming film Justice League. The movie will take place after the death of Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and this new clip reminds us of that. Heavily.

The tone in the trailer is clearly what should happen now that Clark Kent is gone. Batman (Ben Afflack) continues to have visions that something bad is going to happen, so he recruits Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to take it on. During the entire trailer, the death of Superman resonates and changes Bruce Wayne’s frame of mind to imagine, essentially, what the Man of Steel would do. Of course, the IMDB page for Justice League confirms Henry Cavil will return as Clark Kent/Superman for the film, but at least for now, DC wants you to think the last-known being from the planet Krypton is no longer living.

You can watch the trailer below. Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.
