As one of the final major streaming sticks the service has launched on, Hulu’s Live TV is now available on Roku. This comes after the same service launched on a variety of devices including Amazon’s Fire TV, Mac and Windows, Apple TV, Xbox One and 360, iOS, Android, and Chromecast.
Today, Hulu’s new experience and Live TV (beta) service are available on Roku Ultra, Roku Premiere+, Roku Premiere, Roku Express, Roku Express+, Roku Streaming Stick (3600), Roku 4, Roku 3 and Roku TVs. The revamped interface and option to subscribe to the Live TV plan gives you the power to surface all your favorite TV in one place. Support for additional Roku devices is expected to come soon.
More details on the service can be found in our article regarding the launch of the service, but essentially Hulu with Live TV costs $39.99/month and gets you “more than 50 popular sports, news, entertainment and kids’ channels” from providers like Disney, Fox, CBS, and NBC. Add-ons like HBO and Showtime are also available for an added cost. As is usual with services like this, your current location may vary the type of content you can stream.
