Google’s Next-Gen Daydream View Headset Leaks in New Colors, Costs $99

Google’s reportedly giving its Daydream View virtual reality headset an upgrade this year. Likely to debut at its October 4th event, the new headset will come in three new colors and a tweaked design with what looks like a lot more fabric. All of this information is coming from Droid-Life who also leaked the new Pixel 2 handsets and Google Home Mini today.

No specific details were given in today’s report, but according to DL, the headset will cost $99. This is $20 more than what Google charged last year for the previous-generation Daydream View. Obviously, there needs to be some type of upgrade in store whether that goes for the headset itself or the controller. Either way, expect news surrounding this accessory soon straight from the horse’s mouth.
