Samsung will unveil its much-anticipated Galaxy Note 8 smartphone this Wednesday, August 23rd, at an event in New York. We basically know all of the device’s specs at this point, but pricing and availability have always remained mysteries. While the former is still under wraps, the latter has been exposed by infamous leaker Evan Blass on Twitter.
CORRECTION: the options are as follows
1. 256GB card + wireless charger
2. 360 cam

According to Blass, Samsung will put the Note 8 up for pre-order the very next day. In case you’re wondering, that’s Thursday, August 24th. For those who place early orders, Samsung will give you either a 256GB microSD card and wireless charging pad or a 36-degree camera, customer’s choice. Those in Europe will be gifted something debatably even better: a DeX dock. Additionally, Blass notes the phone will go on sale Friday, September 15th.
Even though we don’t have pricing information yet, at least we have an idea of when we’ll be able to get our hands on the Note 8. I’m sure many Galaxy Note fans are awaiting the return of the Note brand after the tragedy that took place last year regarding the Note 7. Things were heated, to say the least, and many weren’t willing to give up their phones. This year, the company shouldn’t have any problem producing Note 8 units and probably won’t have to recall any. It’s obviously too early to tell, but at least from what we’ve seen from the Galaxy S8 lineup, it seems likely this will be the case.
The Galaxy Note 8 will sport a 6.3-inch bezel-less Infinity Display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, Android Nougat, dual rear cameras, and an S Pen.
