Multiple customers are stating their reserved Essential Phone will ship in the next week. The news comes as the Andy Rubin-founded company has begun emailing those who have reserved a unit of the device the good news. 9to5Google received the following message, asking whether they’d like to switch from the Pure White model to the Black Moon as the latter will begin shipping in the next seven days while the former is “still a couple of weeks away.”

Other customers, like Anshel Sag on Twitter, are simply getting notified their order will ship within a week’s time. However, the 360 camera module has yet to receive a firm ship date.

Considering most reservations of the Essential Phone are seeing this notice, it indicates a release date for the device can’t be too far off. The company is holding a couple of meet-ups to show off the device later this month, while Essential has officially reached unicorn status. All in all, Rubin’s  first smartphone seems to be falling into place, and it’s about time. The phone was delayed multiple times within the past few months, so it makes sense to finally see the handset reach its release date.

The Essential Phone has a 5.7-inch 2560×1312 bezel-less display, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, Android 7.1 Nougat, dual 13MP cameras, Bluetooth 5, and a 3040mAh battery sealed into a ceramic and titanium body.
