Facebook Introduces Fresh Design for Mobile Apps

Facebook has given its mobile apps for iOS and Android another face lift, this time with a more modern design. Mind you, it’s the same flat UI we reported back in July, but it’s always nice to hear confirmation.

For starters, it’s now easier to see which comments on posts are replies (similar to what Instagram did earlier today). There’s also an improved UI for the News Feed with flatter icons and an overall cleaner appearance while navigating post links, comment sections, and returning to the News Feed should now all be simpler. It’s a welcome update that just makes using the main Facebook app enjoyable. Maybe it’s a bit lighter on your battery, too.

What am I saying? It’s Facebook. That’ll never happen. :/
