Google’s YouTube Kids App Has Landed on Android TV

Back in April, Google announced the availability of the YouTube Kids app, a family-friendly version of YouTube with curated content meant for younger viewers to enjoy, on a variety of smart TVs. Now, the company is making the same application available to all Android TV users for free.

As was the same goal with launching YouTube Kids on smart televisions, Google is obviously trying to get more kids hooked on their specially-designed interface built for younger audiences. Many are already using the app on iOS and Android, and now that it’s supported on Google’s own smart TV platform, I can only imagine them seeing a spike in their user stats. You know, as long as people actually have an Android TV.

Those interested can download YouTube Kids for free from the Play Store.
