Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 Leaks Out Ahead of Launch

Written by:

Evan Blass is back at it again and is leaking the Midnight Black version of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The device is set to be introduced at an event in New York on August 23rd, but it’s making an early appearance in a new press render.

Samsung’s Note 8 will be the successor to the fiery disaster that was the Note 7 which originally debuted last year. Considering most folks haven’t forgotten about the incident as of yet, it’s unclear how well the public will respond to this device when it’s unveiled. But since we’re a matter of weeks away from seeing it officially, we don’t have much more time to figure it out.

The Note 8 is reported to ship with a 6.3-inch Infinity Display, a Snapdragon 835, possibly 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and dual cameras. It’ll also probably ship with Android 7 and come with a smaller battery than what’s in the Note 7 (can you guess why?).
