Moto has made its Z2 Play mid-range smartphone available for pre-order unlocked. This means the handset will work on any carrier you bring it to, whether it be AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mobile. It’s available for $499, about $100 more than what Verizon charges for its own model.

The Moto Z2 Play features a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 626 processor, 3 or 4GB of RAM, 32 or 64GB of storage, Android 7.1.1 Nougat, a 3,000mAh battery, a 12MP camera, USB-C, and compatibility with Moto Mods. We’re currently reviewing the handset and will have our final thoughts published soon.
