Via The Verge, HMD Global has begun sending press invites to a London event where they’ll unveil the flagship Nokia 8 smartphone. The handset has been highly rumored as of late as being the high-end variant of the multiple Nokia smartphones being released nowadays. The curtain will be drawn on August 16th at 7:30 PM local time (2:30 PM on the East coast in the US).

As for specifics surrounding the device, we expect the Nokia 8 to feature a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, and Zeiss-branded dual cameras. It’ll also likely have a 5.3-inch display, Android 7.1.1 Nougat, 64GB of storage, Bluetooth 5, and a fingerprint scanner. Of course, we’ll likely hear more about the handset soon since we’re roughly three weeks away from the event actually occuring so stay tuned.
