Update: As it turns out, this “movie” is just a commercial. Chances are you’ll probably see it on TV soon. Johnson confirmed this on Twitter by replying to The Verge‘s Chris Welch tweet.

Original article: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has announced a new movie. No, it’s not the next installment in the Fast and Furious franchise or the sequel to the next Jumanji. It’s actually a film that stars both himself and Apple’s voice assistant, Siri.

And no, I’m not joking.

The film, called The Rock x Siri: Dominate the Day, will probably involve a bunch of Siri’s capabilities wrapped up in a feature-length film that will be uploaded to Apple’s YouTube channel tomorrow. Johnson tweeted this outlandish poster today to announce the movie and wrote on Facebook that this will be the “biggest, coolest, craziest, dopest, most over the top, funniest (…) movie ever.” According to his tone of voice in his social media posts, it seems like this movie is aimed to inspire people to get things done, the main goal of Apple’s Siri.

Of course, it’s unclear just how much of Siri you can use to make a full-on movie about her (him?). Hey, I guess we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to learn just how “over the top” this movie really is, right? I mean, I’m sure it’s nuts. The Rock is in it.
