Samsung today began sending press invitations to an event they’re holding on August 23rd to unveil the Galaxy Note 8. This will mark a huge moment in the company’s history as they continue their recovery from last year’s firey disaster that was the Galaxy Note 7.

The event, being held in New York, will start at 11 AM ET. While it remains unclear exactly what Samsung has in store, we do know they’ll unveil the Note 8, no doubt. The handset is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Infinity Display, S Pen support, a Snapdragon 835, dual cameras, and possibly 6GB of RAM.

Stay tuned to Matridox as we deliver you all the news from Samsung’s event and leading up to the date.
